Tonight is going to be a great night! I am going to be entertaining lot of guests tonight, because I have recently moved into a new house. My house in 3 stories and is definitely a classic. It is a Civil War mansion. I have spent almost two years renovating it and fixing it up. I have left a lot of the original fixtures and wood in place. My contractors had to work around all of that so it took a lot longer. I have always loved history and the Deep South. I told myself that as soon as I graduated college that I was moving and I did just that! My house is mentioned in several different history books; mainly the Louisiana History Book. I was the first in line and the last to place the bid, when the house went up for auction. I had my eye on this house several years before I actually bought it. The structure of the house is great and the slave houses still look great. When I moved in, the only thing that was missing was DISH Network. Before I moved, I had to have my services disconnected. In my new home, I really didn't know if I could even have them installed because of the structure. However, Dish said that it would be no problem!

I was surprised that it did not take them long at all to install. The house is very large but they managed to install my services within a few hours. I was told that I would have to entertain people as they would be coming to look at the house on a regular basis, after purchasing the house. When everyone started arriving for the party, I was very shocked at the turnout. There were more people than what I expected. After everyone was there, we all sat down to a nice dinner on the outside porch. My servers were there to help meet the needs of my entire guest. I was glad that I had a TV installed outside in the sitting area because I did not want myself or my guest to miss the documentary of the house that was coming on the History Channel. My plantation was to be featured that night and the next day. It was a 60 minute long documentation of my house along with the history. They showed footage of the house before I started remodeling it and then there was the footage during the remodeling stages and of course after it was complete. There were even a few minutes of interviews from myself and the previous owner. My guests were really enjoying themselves.
DISH Network definitely has some of the most affordable package deals available. My guests really enjoy watching movies when they are there. I even allow guests to sometimes stay the night so that they can get the full experience of the plantation home. I want them to be able to experience history the way that I do every day.
